Fossil Fuel Free Construction – Guidance for clients project teams, subcontractors and suppliers
This report provides a practical guide to help the construction industry reduce Scope 1 emissions and transition to fossil fuel-free construction. It draws on real-world experiences from ACA member companies already adopting electric plant and equipment and using biofuels like renewable diesel and biodiesel where electric options aren’t yet available.
The report calls for stronger collaboration between project teams, suppliers and clients to accelerate the shift towards decarbonising construction activities and delivering more sustainable outcomes.
