The Australian Constructors Association is pleased to announce Ghella as a new member.

Australian Constructors Association CEO Jon Davies said our expanding membership is testament of the important role the association plays in creating a more sustainable construction industry.

“Ghella shares our passion and commitment for creating a forward-thinking industry where all stakeholders collaborate to achieve improved outcomes,” Mr Davies said.

“With unique skills in complex mechanised excavation and engineering works, along with extensive experience in major tunnelling and infrastructure projects,  Ghella will bring a valuable perspective to the association.”

Ghella is involved in the construction of many infrastructure projects including the delivery of Brisbane’s Cross River Rail, Sydney Metro and Stage 1 of Sydney’s M6 motorway.

Ghella’s Managing Director Marco Fontana said the Australian Constructor’s Association is a formidable representative body for contractors delivering vertical and horizontal construction, as well as providing construction services.

“The Association is well placed to bring about much needed change to create a commercially sustainable industry that has the capacity, capability and skills to deliver the pipeline of projects and, importantly, radiates a positive industry culture’, Mr Fontana said.

“We are excited to see the entire industry shift to a more productive industry through the use of new technologies and innovation.”

The Australian Constructors Association collaborates extensively across the sector and represent the views of industry leaders to help shape government policies to ensure Australian communities receive high-performing assets and services from the infrastructure, building, resources and energy industries.
