Reporting to the Downer CEO, Mark leads the Infrastructure Projects business which he founded within Downer in 2014. The business has seen solid growth since then with current revenues over $1.5 billion pa in projects such as roads, structures, heavy rail, light rail, rail systems, power transmission and renewables. Prior to this, Mark has been employed with Downer since 2008 where he has held senior positions including Executive General Manager, Roads Infrastructure North East; and Surfacing Manager, Western Australia.

The Infrastructure Projects business has been able to establish a strong foothold in the markets it chooses to operate in, using a systems based engineering approach and a disciplined view tender selection.

Drawing on his experience from the fast moving, constantly evolving infrastructure industry, Mark has implemented a range of leading-edge initiatives for strategic planning, change management, process improvement and digital technology development.  Mark is a collaborative, hands-on leader focused on supporting organisational talent to flourish.

Mark holds a Master of Business Administration, Bachelor of Engineering – Civil (Honours) as well as various board positions including Bama Services, which is a 100% indigenous owned enterprise.
