Baulderstone Pty Ltd

Baulderstone has been "Creating what matters" in Australian building and civil infrastructure for our clients and the community, for over 80 years.

Born of the union between two trusted names in Australian construction, MR Hornibrook and AW Baulderstone, and benefiting from the expertise and global presence of its parent company, Bilfinger Berger AG, the company has a rich heritage and strong relationships.

Today it is one of the largest Building and Civil Engineering companies in Australia and employs over 1300 people across the country, with an annual turnover in excess of $2.0 billion.

The company’s competitive edge lies in its ability to take on the technically complex projects and deliver reliable, outstanding results for all its stakeholders.

Its Building portfolio contains icons of local and worldwide significance including the UNESCO world heritage-listed Sydney Opera House, Melbourne’s Etihad Stadium, Brisbane Square and the Adelaide Convention Centre.

In Civil Engineering, Baulderstone has successfully completed many Australian infrastructure landmarks such as Brisbane's Story Bridge, Sydney's Anzac Bridge, Melbourne’s City West Link Freeway and the Bolte Bridge.

Current major projects under construction include the Clem Jones Tunnel in Brisbane; the Port Botany Container Terminal Expansion in New South Wales; the Westgate Freeway Alliance in Melbourne, and the Phu My Bridge in Vietnam.

The company is well positioned to participate in the growth of Australian infrastructure with a strong forward order book and balance sheet. Its strategy to progressively expand its business to new geographic regions is bearing fruit, with offices established in the ACT, Western Australia, North Queensland and Vietnam. Recent contracts have also been secured in new market segments such as Power and Rail.

Baulderstone is well placed to build on its rich traditions, to continue "Creating what matters".
